Momma did much better today. Slept from 2am until 7 and back to bed until 11. That’s great considering she was up about 14 times the night before. I was downtown in meetings most of the day but when I got home at 4 she wanted to go swimming. And then we had our first real meal together in almost two weeks. Fingers are crossed for another good night tonight.

Hope things are going better. I am trying to remember what i did to survive the nausea phase – came up with these two:
* Ginger tea (herb tea isn’t my thing, it’s pretty “meh” tasting as Chris says, but this did seem to help
* Tums and thank god for them, they come in handy later when the largeness of the baby is pushing the stomach around causing acid problems
* Dramamine when it’s really, really bad
* pinching the wrist in a certain place on the side. Google about that.
And of course telling yourself that it’s great sleep deprivation training
Hope you’re feeling great, Jamie! Hang in there, it does NOT last forever!!!
Hope the ick is behind you, though the discomfort and fatigue phase seems to return near the end of pregnancy as birth nears. Take it easy–it’s HARD WORK MAKING A HUMAN BEING!
